Pete Escovedo is the top act at this year's St. Croix Blue Bay Jazz Festival.

The 2nd annual St. Croix Blue Bay Jazz Festival is set to run from September 19th through the 23rd, and a combo festival and travel experience been bundled up by organizers to make a nice fall vacation opportunity.

For those who are thinking of traveling down to the Islands for the festival's five days, fans can get purchase the St. Croix Blue Bay Jazz Fest Package, which will be available now until November 15th. With all of the benefits included in the package, which includes a week-long stay at one of St. Croix's best resorts and American Express Traveler's Cheques, fans who purchase this package stand to save more than $1,500.

The headliners and Tito Puente Jr. and the Pete Escovedo Orchestra. With additional performers of note including Eddie Russel, Willie Martinez and Rolando Briceno, there is a major Latin shade to the programming this year. However, the festivities will end with an open mic beach jam (though it actually will take place in the one of the festival's two venues that isn't a beach, the Carribbean Museum Center for the Arts) as well as a pre-determined lineup made up entirely of local artists.

The cost of the package is $699 per person.
