The Mainly Mozart Festival Orchestra conducted by David Atherton is the largest annual assemblage of concertmasters and principal players from major U.S. symphony orchestras to be found anywhere in North America, and performs works by Mozart and other master composers of the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries.
Now in its 13th season, the Spotlight Series showcases world class musicians performing chamber music concerts by master composers of the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries in intimate settings, including the acoustically superb auditorium of The Neurosciences Institute in La Jolla; St. Elizabeth Seton church in Carlsbad, and the European salon-like Azalea Room of The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe in Rancho Santa Fe.
